8 Amazing Websites To Download Free eBooks

Read and download free eBooks & Audiobooks from these websites!

This post may contain affiliate links to products and services I’ve tried & tested. I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you when you use these services.

Whether you’re a hobby reader or you’re looking to get free books to help you with your school studies, having access to free online materials can make all the difference when it comes to budgeting.

I’ve always loved reading and it’s still one of my favourite hobbies today. Finding free eBooks helps me keep up with my hobby without emptying my bank account at the same time.

Utilizing these great free resources will help you save money and give you access to endless reading material. Below is a list of my favourite online resources to find free eBooks and audiobooks to enjoy:

1. Your library!

I get most of my eBooks and Audiobooks from my local library using the Libby app on my phone, and the Overdrive app for my Kobo. All you need is a library card, and they connect you to digital books offered from your library. They get new releases constantly, and if someone has already borrowed the book that you want, you can just place a hold and the app will notify you when it’s ready for you to borrow!

2. Amazon Kindle Unlimited (Free Trial)

If you don’t already have a membership for Amazon Kindle Unlimited that you use to get your eBooks, you can sign up here for a 100% free month of Kindle Unlimited and read as many books as you can in that time!

3. Audible (Free Trial)

If you’re looking for Audiobooks instead of eBooks, you can get a 30 day free trial with Audible to enjoy!

4. Open Library

https://openlibrary.org/ houses countless eBooks in all sorts of genres, and they’re working towards having every book ever written – so you know that they’ll have a lot of good ones

5. Project Gutenberg

https://www.gutenberg.org/ is another one of my favourites, they have over 60,000 mostly older eBooks that you can download or read right online

6. Free eBooks

https://www.free-ebooks.net/ offers five free monthly eBooks when you sign up to their website

7. Many Books

https://manybooks.net/ has over 50,000 free eBooks available in a wide variety of genres, and their website layout is definitely one of my favourites to navigate

8. Open Culture

http://www.openculture.com/free_ebooks offers lots of eBooks (and tons of other interesting text & video content) free

9. Read Print

http://www.readprint.com/ is another site with a great layout offering many different genres of eBooks

10. Riveted

https://rivetedlit.com/ offers different Young Adult books free each month
