Productivity apps

Evernote

A lot of people don’t know about Evernote, but it is such a game changer for everyone who uses it.

You can take notes on any device that you have, and it will sync up with your account so that you can view those notes on any of your other devices!

The features are incredible, and it really is a must have app for anyone who likes taking notes digitally, writing ‘note to self’ reminders & to-do lists, staying on top of things, and just generally being organized!

Grammarly

I’m a huge fan of any program that will help us improve our spelling & grammar and catch the mistakes that we make, and Grammarly does just that!

They’ve just recently launched their new keyboard apps for iOS and Android, and I can’t recommend their program enough!

Trello

Trello is similar to Evernote listed above, and it would be a great idea to check both out and see if you prefer one over the other.

Take notes, keep track of things, and get your life in order by staying organized!

Google Drive

Our lives seem to run on Google lately, and Google Drive is right there to keep us addicted.

Store all of your large important documents, assignments, and everything else on Google Drive and you’ll be able to chip away working on everything you need as the day goes on!

Duolingo

I’ve been using Duolingo every single day for almost a year now (they keep track for you!) and I love it so much!

You can learn a second/third/fourth/as many as you want language completely free right on your phone! Duolingo guides you through your chosen language from start to finish, and turns learning into a fun game that’s super easy to stick with every day. They’ve structured their lessons so perfectly and it really makes learning a new language super simple

Use Quizlet to help you study with their flashcards and get better prepared for your exams

Rakuten

Rakuten is a super user friendly cash back app that earns you money back on tons of your purchases – including from Amazon and Sephora!

Venmo is the go-to app for sending and receiving money with other people. If you go out with your friends and need to pay each other back for something one of you bought, you can easily send them the cash through Venmo!

The Mindfulness App

Help your mind and mental state with The Mindfulness App. They have a bunch of different features that will help you in a variety of ways!

Nike Training Club

Do free workouts right in your dorm room with the free Nike Training Club app. They have a variety of workouts that make it easy to find one, or a few, that you enjoy!

Music apps

Spotify

I use Spotify all the time to listen to free songs, albums, and playlists. They have a premium option if you want to upgrade down the road, but you don’t have to because the free version is already great!

Amazon Prime Music

This one is free to use if you have Amazon Prime, and if you don’t have it yet – you can get a free 30 day trial here and get access to all of their Prime features including access to 2 million songs – ad free!
